Stealth games are not my forte, not by a long shot. Try as I might, I’m often running to find a locker to hide in or get caught up in a gunfight that I’d rather not have to deal with seeing as 9 times out of 10 I am short on ammo. But Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear series has always intrigued me with its story and blatant rip off of 80s movie era Kurt Russell. True fact: I convinced my District Manager to let me open the EB Games I managed at midnight for MGS4, the only store in town to do so. Then I went home and played the opening hour or so of the game before passing out. The game is still (unfortunately) in my backlog. (more…)

After spending the weekend at DragonCon, I came home to find two goodies from Amazon: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re:birth1 for the Vita, and my Sailor Jupiter Figuarts figure. Finally the Inner Sailor Senshi were all together again! I wanted to take pictures and write about her yesterday but I had to get some work done. Here she is now with pictures and thoughts below. After months of impatiently waiting for her, my new Sailor Moon figure from Bandai Tamashii Nations finally arrived on Tuesday. The first of at least four unveiled figures, the first edition Sailor Moon figure features a total of 6 interchangeable heads, two wands, a bunch of hands and a tiny plastic Luna companion. Usagi’s winking and crying faces are exclusive to the first run of this figure which made it a definite pre-order for me.
