My Background:

I have been gaming since the early ’80s when my mother first brought home an Atari 2600, Galaga, Q-bert and Dark Chambers. I would sneak in as much gaming time as I could in-between reading the 50+ books I borrowed weekly from the public library and playing street hockey.

My varied work experiences include in-store event planning and special ordering for one branch of a major Canadian bookstore chain, co-owned Yukino’s Anime Shop, and managing a very successful EB Games location in Canada.

Most recently I was a contributor and the PR/marketing representative for GamingAngels. For GamingAngels, I provided some review and editorial coverage, in addition to my duties of contacting gaming companies on behalf of our community, building our press presence, among others.

In my spare time, I edit J-drama fansubs (fan translated subtitles) with Kizuna Fansubs.
