Based on the original book, Densha Otoko the TV series came out after a successful version of the novel was released in theatres. Not a continuation, but another telling of the story, this version of Densha Otoko spans 11 episodes and lets us get to know the characters and Aladdin~chan users on a much more personal level (in my personal opinion). Everyone knows someone like Shinsuke. A successful architect in his 40s, he’s a bit eccentric; neat and tidy, particular about how he eats his meals, listens to classical music and enjoys movies that you wouldn’t think he would. Shinsuke builds wonderful homes for people, particularly fond of larger kitchens, but he doesn’t really care to spend a lot of time with people. (more…)
