2018 marks my NINTH year of participating in Extra Life and I am so excited to raise money once again for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Extra Life is a 24 hour gaming marathon (video/board/card games) that raises money for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals around the world. This year it takes place on November 3rd, 2018. I’ll start once the clock strikes midnight and end at midnight the following day. The entire stream will be available to watch on Twitch.
Since I married and moved to Atlanta in 2010 I have been raising money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. My husband is an Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia survivor, who was successfully treated by the amazing folks at CHOA Scottish Rite, which is why I chose Children’s as the hospital I wish to support in my Extra Life efforts.
I’ve decided to take another break from doing a large cross stitch prize this year, and instead will have four drawings for $25 Playstation, Xbox, Switch or Steam gift cards that I will cover out of pocket. I also have various Loot Anime items up for grabs. Every $5 donated will give you one raffle entry (so $25 will get you 5 entries, etc) and every single penny raised is going to the hospital. Your donations are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt.
My gaming schedule for the big day is not yet set, and depending on what games I might pick up before Game Day means the schedule is subject to change.
